What is this?
This is a 90-day program for women who want to understand the impact of the injuries, learn tools for responding effectively to triggers and be supported in the process of clarifying the path forward. It is designed to support you in stabilizing the emotional chaos, understanding what is happening in your nervous system and trauma response, and beginning to rebuild trust in yourself as you navigate what comes next. This is not traditional weekly therapy. It is a structured, immersive coaching support container with consistent guidance, education, and community so you are not trying to process this alone between sessions.
Understanding the Injury
The reality that you have been the victim of your partner's behaviors, and you now have massive injuries to heal from is beyond unfair. As in, the kind of unfair that we don't actually have words for. I hate that reality. I really, really do. He has (or "had") the problem and he understandably should be the one to find the solution and figure out how to heal in a way that ensures this never happens again.
You might tell yourself, "If he gets better, then I will be better." Because him "not being better" resulted in him violating your marriage and more. But the truth that we see time and time again is that those wounds, your wounds, still require individual attention, care and healing.
The hopeful part of this is that your healing isn't fully dependent on him. Whether he is doing the work to take full accountability, showing up with humility and truly changing or not doesn't actually get to dictate whether or not you get to find the healing that you need. I have seen so many women in so many different circumstances move through Deceptive Sexuality Trauma and somehow become more resilient on the other side. Their strength amazes me. Your strength amazes me.
Even when the situation is similar, sometimes women report very different experiences in the aftermath of betrayal. Some women experience intense flashbacks and triggers, others experience avoidance, mood swings or hypervigilance. Some women have shared that with their entire world being shattered, their sense of self, their self-worth, self-trust, and self-concept have shattered right along with it.
Some women experience ALL of the above.
It's awful. It can be so hard to find the light in these darkest of realities. All of these, and other, experiences are normal considering the circumstances. The emotions and defenses that come with this are also normal and to be expected. AND. Even if this is your "new normal" for now, it doesn't have to stay that way. There is hope for healing. There is a path forward, even in the sea of choices that you never wanted to choose from. I know that healing is possible. You can move from darkness to light.
What Does Healing Actually Look Like?
Healing doesn't mean that you never get triggered again. I wish I could say that it did, but after over a decade doing this work, I know that's not actually what we're aiming for. It can look like responding effectively to those triggers so you can move through them more quickly and that they can happen fewer and farther between.
It doesn't always mean you have all the answers about your relationship. The reality with Deceptive Sexuality Trauma is that you may not actually have every answer, because so much of that depends on whether or not he will be honest. The hopeful part is that whether or not you receive the entire truth, you can feel confidence in your own path forward.
It doesn't mean that you have to know right this second whether you're staying or leaving. Healing so often happens in the messy middle where you're continuing to climb this mountain, finding strength through that process.
For many women, healing looks like the things we can observe and a shift in the internal world.
It can look like:
-
Establishing and maintaining boundaries
-
Responding effectively to triggers
-
Rebuilding trust in your own self
-
Prioritizing your needs in a way that feels safe
-
An increased emotional awareness and responsiveness
-
Using your voice to express your needs
-
Clarity surrounding the path forward individually and relationally
-
Metabolizing these existing realities of abuse and trauma
-
Restoring self-worth
-
Knowing what you are and are not responsible for
-
Beginning to feel like yourself again
And here's the thing... Everyone's process of healing and their specific needs look different
Which is why I created a program with highly personalized support while including the connection with other women who get it. This doesn't happen overnight but it IS possible.
What do I get?
You do not have to fight this battle alone. You are fighting the hardest battle and from the bottom of my heart, I do not want you to have to fight this battle alone. That's why I created Blooming Beyond Betrayal.
Inside this 90-day program, you receive structured, consistent support while you are navigating one of the most destabilizing experiences of your life. I want to be so clear about what that support actually means.
You aren't simply getting more information about betrayal.
You aren't being handed a course and expected to figure out what to do with it.
And you aren't expected to wait until your next appointment to figure out how to navigate every difficult moment that happens in between.
This program is designed to give you a place to learn, process, practice, ask questions, receive support and begin applying what you're learning to your actual life.
Here is an overview of what it looks like:
Education & Understanding
-
A clear framework for understanding Deceptive Sexuality Trauma and how it impacts your nervous system, thoughts, emotional responses and more
-
You'll have access to a course with tools and education for women who have experienced trauma from sexual betrayal for a full year.
-
You'll receive support in making sense of what you are experiencing and responding to your needs
-
You'll receive accurate information related to what you are and are not responsible for in recovery.
Because we don't need: "What's wrong with me?" We need to understand what is happening.
Guided Application
Knowing what is happening is important, but knowing something intellectually and knowing how to respond when you're actually triggered are two very different things. You'll receive:
-
You'll receive tools for emotional regulation during triggers and activation
-
You'll have support in establishing and maintaining boundaries specifically surrounding Deceptive Sexuality Trauma
-
You'll have help in clarifying the path forward
-
You'll be supported in applying what you are learning between sessions
Individual and Group Support
Healing doesn't only happen when you're sitting in a session. It happens on a random Tuesday when you suddenly find yourself triggered. it happens when you have a conversation with your partner. It happens when another piece of information comes to light.
This is where having support matters.
-
You'll have one initial 60-minute 1:1 coaching session to share your story and address your specific needs for our time together
-
We'll hold weekly 60 to 90-minute small group coaching calls
-
You'll have between-session support from your coach so you are not waiting a full week to get help when something happens
-
You'll have the opportunity to connect with other women who are living through similar experiences
-
You'll have a place to ask questions when real-life situations arise
You are not expected to have it all figured out before you begin. You are supported as you go through it.

Why Group Coaching?
Sometimes other people can have ideas of what you "should or shouldn't do" about your own situation.
I'm amazed at how "easily" often well-meaning loved ones can discharge their own expectations onto the betrayed partner.
If this hasn't been your experience, I am SO glad. It shouldn't be.
Women who have experienced this bomb deserve to be supported in whatever choices they make throughout their own healing journey.
But one thing I have noticed over the years is that women who have also been victims of Deceptive Sexuality Trauma so often provide that space for other betrayed partners to make their own choices. So often these women honor each other in their journey, without judgment or expectation. Which, thank you!
We don't need judgment added to an incredibly devastating injury. When you are in the emotional ICU, your only job is to survive.
So often women's groups quite literally become sacred space and no amount of individual therapy or individual coaching can replace that.
Knowing other women experiencing the same thing, or something similar, being able to support and hold each other is inherently healing.
I really believe that, because I have witnessed it. My hope in this program is that we will create a similar container of at times holding the pain, and at other times, being held in the pain.
I will always deeply value and honor the voices and experiences of the women who are walking and have walked this road.
This is Not a Replacement for Therapy
If you have an individual therapist supporting you through this, please continue that work. Coaching and therapy serve different functions.
Blooming Beyond Betrayal is designed to provide a different layer of support around a very specific experience.
While I am a licensed therapist in the state of Nevada, I am showing up in this program in my capacity as a coach.
I've created this program because the therapy container is typically set up as a 1x 50-minute sessions weekly, and I have just found that many women who I have worked with over the years, while they are absolute warriors, need a different kind of support alongside that work.
They need someone who understands the specific injuries of Deceptive Sexuality Trauma.
They need education that makes sense of what is happening.
They need tools that they can actually use when they are triggered.
AND
They need the between session support to help apply all that they are learning in the midst of the wreckage.
So if you already have a therapist, wonderful! I am the biggest advocate of therapy and the biggest advocate for you having all the support you need and deserve.

Why Work with Me?
Facilitated by Jenae Lindsey
Hi! I'm Jenae Lindsey. I've been doing this work for over a decade. I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and a Deceptive Sexuality and Trauma Therapist. I found the work of Dr. Omar Minwalla when several of my clients mentioned him to me. I basically reached out to him and asked me to train me because something was missing from so many of the other clinical models out there. He named the realities of, not just compulsive-entitled sexual behaviors, but of the integrity abuse that comes with someone engaging in secret sexual behaviors. I knew this was the missing piece in my training and the missing piece for so many of my clients. I am incredibly invested in my clients' healing. I have poured my heart into this work and feel deeply grateful to do this work.
My clinical training matters because I won't give generic betrayal recovery advice.
I want you to understand what this actually is.
I want you to understand the injuries.
I want you to understand what's happening in your nervous system, not just from a general perspective but specifically how we can help you effectively move through triggers and move into action and clarity.
I want to help you begin figuring out what healing looks like for you.

A little more about my approach
Before working with me, you should know that I rely heavily on the work of Dr. Omar Minwalla in my teaching and coaching. I have found his work to be a critical part of understanding the impact and the injuries. Because of my background as a Deceptive Sexuality Trauma therapist, I will educate and name the realities of integrity abuse, compulsive and/or entitled sexual behaviors. I want to make sure I'm naming this part now so you have an idea of what this looks like inside the program.
I am a firm believer that truth heals. My hope throughout our time together is that you will be inundated with truth. Truth about the trauma, yes, but also truth about who you really are: a person of infinite worth and value who is worthy of love, belonging, safety. ALL THE THINGS.
What Makes This Different?
There are a lot of places you can go for information about betrayal.
There are books.
There are podcasts.
There are social media accounts.
There are support groups.
There is therapy.
And some of those things can be incredibly valuable.
Blooming Beyond Betrayal isn't meant to replace them.
What I've created is a specific, structured space for women experiencing Deceptive Sexuality Trauma to receive education, coaching, community and ongoing support while they are living through it.
You don't have to spend hours trying to figure out which information applies to you.
You don't have to wonder whether what you're experiencing is normal.
You don't have to wait until your next appointment to ask every question.
And you don't have to explain the entire world of Deceptive Sexuality Trauma to the people experiencing it alongside you.
This is the work we do here.
